The Bolivian American Medical Society and Latin American Medical Society (BAMS & LAMS) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing medical and educational services to underserved communities across Bolivia and Latin America through medical missions, education programs, and community initiatives.
Membership is open to physicians, dentists, medical/dental students and residents who share our commitment to service, collaboration and community impact.
Members can apply to join upcoming medical missions through our events and volunteer programs. Opportunities are announced regularly via email and on our website.
You can support BAMS & LAMS by becoming a member, volunteering your time, donating funds, sponsoring initiatives, or partnering with us to expand healthcare access and education.
Our medical missions primarily focus on Bolivia and underserved regions throughout Latin America, targeting communities with limited access to healthcare services.
BAMS &LAMS will be a registered non for profit organization starting March 20th 2026, and all eligible donations are tax-deductible according to applicable regulations. Official receipts are provided upon request.
We welcome partnerships with healthcare institutions, nonprofits, universities, and corporate sponsors interested in expanding healthcare and educational outreach across Latin America.
